Jigtech Challenge – New record time set at Build Show!
8 November 2016
The Jigtech Challenge was back and in full force at the NEC for the 2016 Build Show! Packed with the biggest names in the trade for three days of the very best that the industry has to offer.
The super competitive Jigtech challenge was back again, tasking participants to fit a set of Jigtech door handles in the quickest time possible. Each entrant was provided with all the elements required from the Jigtech Pro box, along with all required tools for the job.
The Jigtech stand created plenty of buzz and drew in a big audience, which added to the excitement of competing to be in with the chance of taking home a Honda CBR 650F motorcycle worth £7,500 .
Justin Burtonstones was the cream of the crop, registering a completion time of 1 minute and 38 seconds, the fastest time we’ve seen set so far in the Jigtech Challenge! For his incredible effort, Justin has now progressed to the final with the other finalists and is in with a chance of winning the grand prize, later this year.
This record time really puts into perspective how quick and easy Jigtech really is, turning a job that traditionally took around 25- 30 minutes into one that can be easily completed in 5 minutes or less.
If you wasn’t at the Build Show to take part in the second round of the Jigtech Challenge, you’ll have another chance to compete during 2017 and make your way into the grand final. The Jigtech Challenge will be on the road with attendance at Pro Builder Live, Alexandra Palace already confirmed for February 2017 and several other Pro Builder Live events booked throughout the year.
